How to Engage with Communities on Viva Engage

Step 1: Open platform

Navigate to your Outlook email and click the apps icon on the left side bar. Then open the Viva Engage platform.

Step 2: Click “Discover Communities”

Once Viva Engage loads, navigate to the left side pane and click Discover Communities

Step 3: Click “Join”

Here, you will be prompted to follow recommended communities that already exist through your Mars email domain. You can join as many as you want!

Step 4: Click “View All Communities”

If you want to view more communities, scroll to the bottom and click View All Communities. From there, you can see all the groups to join that interest you.

Step 5: Navigate

To engage with a community directly after joining the group, navigate to the side pane and click on the one you want to view.

Step 6: Post

This will take you to that community’s landing page. From there, you can post a discussion directly by clicking into your profile text box.

Step 7: Engage

Additionally, you can also engage with a post in the community. Scroll to a post you want to engage with, and like other social media platforms, you'll be able to like, leave a comment, and share the post directly.
